Actor Sunny Deol, who is celebrating the success of Gadar 2, found himself in some controversy after a bank sent out an auction notice for the actor’s property in Juhu against the alleged non-payment of Rs 55.99 crore (£5 million) loan. The actor has now finally spoken up on the matter and reacted to the controversy.
Calling it a “personal matter,” Sunny said that he would rather not comment on the matter as people might misinterpret it.
Talking to news agency ANI, Sunny said,
“I do not want to comment. These are personal matters. ‘Main kuch bhi bolunga, log galat matlab nikalenge’ (I’ll not say anything, people will misinterpret).”
A few days ago, Bank of Baroda issued a notice in a newspaper announcing the auction of Sunny Villa for the failure of repayment of the said loan. However, the bank soon withdrew the notice stating “technical reasons”.
