Reports of Tom Cruise being involved in a romantic relationship with his longtime agent, Maha Dakhil, have been dismissed by a source close to the actor. Speculation began after the pair were spotted having dinner together at a Mayfair restaurant in London on 18 December. Paparazzi images from the evening, which showed the two appearing “touchy-feely,” quickly fuelled dating rumours on social media.
However, InTouch Weekly quotes a source who clarified that Maha, who is “happily married,” and Tom are simply close colleagues and friends. The source added, “When Tom and Maha get together, they are very chummy. It’s clear they like each other very much and enjoy each other’s company, but that’s all. Tom’s not one to cross any lines.”
The report also labelled their dinner as nothing more than a meal between friends who have worked together for years, firmly putting an end to the swirling speculation.
