Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal have donated 100,000 rupees towards the relief of fire victims in Tirap and Longding districts of Arunachal Pradesh.Dhawan was photographed with his wife handing the amount to Deputy Commissioner Somcha Lowang of Lower Subansiri district, who has been overseeing the relief work for the victims.
The news was confirmed by Twitter user Dipro Ziro who shared the photos from the event. The user wrote, “#VarunDhawan and #NatashaDalal donated Rs.One lakh as relief assistance to the fire victims of #Longliang at Lazu Circle at Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh. Varun has been camping in #Ziro since Feb, shooting for his upcoming movie #Bhediya.”

In March, a huge fire broke out at Londliang village. It is currently believed that two people, including a six-year-old child, have died because of the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
Varun is currently shooting in the scenic state for Amar Kaushik’s “Bhediya”, which also features Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobroyal. The supernatural thriller film has been scripted by National Award-winner Niren Bhatt, and is slated to release on April 14, 2022.
