A video of a violent disturbance at a Bradford petrol station has gone viral on social media, and has been viewed more than 130,000 times.

A man was injured when his Volkswagen Jetta car was rammed several times during the incident at the BP service station in Barkerend Road, in Barkerend on Sunday at 7.40pm.

Parts of car debris could today still be seen on the ground where the petrol station’s forecourt meets the pavement.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to a petrol station in Barkerend Road at about 7.42pm last night after a man made an anonymous call to say his vehicle had been deliberately hit by another car.

“The caller reported he was injured and that the offending vehicle had left the scene.

“Police attended and located the caller, a 44-year-old man, and established he had suffered a cut to his arm which was not thought to be serious.

“Enquiries into the incident are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”

The video which was originally posted on Facebook has been shared more than 3,500 times and been viewed by more than 130,000 people.
