29 August 2008, 15 years back, Bollywood audience were introduced to a new kind movie. A movie about friendship, love and most importantly rock genre. “Rock On” released 15 years ago still remains on the watchlist of many youngsters.
With a powerful starcast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shahana Goswami, the film was a powerful hit when it was released in 2008, and still remains etched in everyone’s heart.
The film tells the story of four friends who form a rock band called Magik. The film follows their journey as they struggle to make it big in the music industry. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it is considered to be one of the most important films in the history of Indian rock music.
The film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
Farhan Akhtar marked 15 years of the movie by taking to Instagram. “15 years since Magik was created. Thank you to the fans who’ve kept it alive .. Rock On!! ♥️” he wrote along side a short clip of Rock On!
