Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been on a sabbatical in terms of doing movies, since Lal Singh Chadha reveals.

His last film, a remake of Forrest Grump, received a lukewarm response at the theatres and was also embroiled into political controversies. The Rang De Basanti actor has not been much active since Lal Singh Chaddha.

However, this sabbatical is expected to end soon, with reports suggesting that the actor is teaming up Rajkumar Santoshi for Christmas 2024 for a yet to be named project.

The reunion will take place almost 30 years after the actor-director duo delivered a masterpiece called, Andaz Apna Apna. Starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, Andaz Apna Apna, released in 1994, was a instant hit and a laugh riot.

Further reports published in Indian entertainment media, says that the filming of the said movie is scheduled to start in January, and the film is currently in a pre-production stage.

Last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and others. Aamir is currently producing a film starring Farhan Akhtar. It is the Hindi remake of the Spanish-language film Campeones.
