Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his birthday on 5 February, with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan making sure the day was extra special. The actor took to social media to share heartfelt birthday wishes, posting a throwback photo from Abhishek’s childhood.
Along with the photo, Aishwarya wrote, “✨Here’s wishing you Happy Birthday with happiness, good health, love and light. God Bless.”
In a separate post, Abhishek’s father, Amitabh Bachchan, also shared a warm wish for his son, marking the occasion with a nostalgic note on his blog. Big B shared a photo from 1976, which appeared to be the first photograph of Abhishek taken shortly after his birth. The image shows the new born surrounded by family members, including Amitabh, his wife Teji Bachchan, and hospital staff. Amitabh wrote, “Feb 5, 1976… Time has passed rapidly.”
Big B’s blog post also expressed his gratitude to all those who had wished Abhishek on his special day, noting, “For all the Ef (extended family) and well-wishers that have wished Abhishek for his Birthday… may I take this Blog as a gratitude missive from me and him.”
On the personal front, Aishwarya and Abhishek’s relationship has made headlines in recent months, with rumours surrounding their marriage. Despite the speculation, the couple has continued to support each other at various public events. They have been married for 18 years and share a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
Aishwarya, who has been largely absent from Bollywood in recent years, was last seen in the Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan. Abhishek, on the other hand, recently appeared in Shoojit Sircar’s I Want to Talk.
