Amber Heard is expanding her family as the Aquaman actress, 38, confirms she’s expecting her second child. A spokesperson for Heard shared the news, stating, “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so we do not wish to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say, Amber is delighted for both herself and her daughter, Oonagh Paige.”
Heard, who welcomed her first child, Oonagh, in April 2021, has been open about her journey to motherhood. When announcing Oonagh’s birth, she expressed her desire to have a child on her own terms, writing, “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib.” Since then, she has shared glimpses of her life as a single mother, calling herself “just the mom and the dad” and a “multitasking mama.”
Following a highly publicised legal battle with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Heard relocated to Madrid, Spain, to find peace and focus on her family. Reflecting on the trial, she told NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie in June 2022, “I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
