For those who have been following Ranbir Kapoor since his debut in Sawariya know him as a romantic hero, who at times uses humour and wit to bring up a stellar performance on screen.
The Brahmastra actor has seldom stepped out this comfortable yet versatile bubble, when it comes to portrayal of his characters. However, this perception might soon change with Animal, Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming action packed, gory thriller.
The teaser for Animal was released on 28 September and Ranbir Kapoor is seen in an all new avatar.
Revolving around a father-son relation ship, the teaser showcases Ranbir Kapoor a part of a rich household, where he doesn’t seem too happy. Next we see, him in a villainous arc, roaming around with a gang of gun-holders and preparing for a major battle. After we hear continuous shots of guns, we are introduced to a Ranbir, lying down in a pool of blood, with his voiceover saying, “Don’t be disappointed papa”
Animal has a powerful starcast, with Rashmika Mandhana, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol making their presence felt strongly in the teaser.
