the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards under the Best Indian Act category, which falls under the Worldwide Act category.

The winner of the sub-category will then compete with the winners from regions across the globe to become one of the six worldwide act winners. The final six winners will be announced on the Europe Music Awards Show.

33-year-old Priyanka started singing with her first ever song ‘In My City’ in 2012. It was followed by her seconed number, Exotic featuring American rapper Pitbull.While 32-year-old Monica, an American singer of Indian origin, is the co-founder of Mumbai-based electronic group Shaa’ir+Func. Monica sang a song Dooriyan Bhi Hai Zaroori with Vishal Dadlani in Deepika Padukone’s ‘Break Ke Baad’ and a number in Arjun Rampal-starrer Inkaar (2013).

MTV Europe Music Awards are a reflection of the international and continental music scene.

This year’s music awards will be held at Medolanum Forum in Milan, Italy on 25th October 2015. This will be the second time that both Milan and Italy will host the show. Fans all over the world can vote for their favorite stars till 14 October 2015 on MTV EMA’s website.
