After her super hit songs in Bollywood films, Kanika Kapoor has launched her first single ‘The Teddy Bear song’ at the Book Launch for the Big Indian Wedding in Mumbai.
The song will bring alive the essence of the book ‘The Big Indian Wedding’ by Sakshi Salve (Daughter of lawyer Harish Salve).
Through the peppy, foot tapping song, Kanika accentuates the book’s anecdotes and the larger-than-life life styles mentioned in it.
After an exciting launch which welcomed the likes of Amitabh Bachchan Mukesh & Nita Ambani, Dimple Kapadia and Twinkle Khanna among others, Kanika said: “This song is a unique experience of bringing a book alive through a song and a video. The Indian wedding is known to be one of the most distinctive ceremonial celebrations in the world for its element of colour, fun and dance – I hope my song will entertain many brides and grooms on their big day!”

The Big Indian Wedding presents the larger than life and outlandish world of Indian weddings.Kanika and Sakshi decided to collaborate a year ago, when the book was still being written. They wanted to do something that no one has ever done before.
