Take a peep behind the scenes at Bagshaw Museum in Batley and discover everything there is to know about the stunning Victorian Gothic mansion.
Guided tours at 1pm and 2.30pm on 10 March will reveal more about the story of how it started life as a family home, became an unwanted building and was then saved by the local council and turned into a much-loved museum. And they will explain why the building has had three different names since being built in the 1870s.
The tours last approximately 45 minutes and are family-friendly. They are free and places can be booked on the day at the museum’s reception desk.
The next tours will be on Sunday 7 April, also at 1pm and 2.30pm.
