Priyanka Chopra is back in Mumbai to celebrate her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding, and the Chopra family has kicked off the pre-wedding celebrations in full swing. The festivities began with a Mata Ki Chowki at their home, seeking divine blessings for the soon-to-be-married couple.
Auspicious beginnings: Mata Ki Chowki
On Wednesday, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, shared glimpses from the Mata Ki Chowki, a traditional prayer ceremony, on Instagram.
Dressed in a magenta suit, Madhu Chopra posed alongside Priyanka, who looked radiant in an orange traditional ensemble. The event was attended by close family and friends, making it a heartwarming start to the wedding festivities.
Sharing the photos, Madhu Chopra wrote:

The celebrations continued with the Mehendi ceremony, and Madhu Chopra gave fans another sneak peek via Instagram Stories. She shared a photo of a group of women dressed in traditional attire, including Priyanka and her daughter Malti Marie, who looked adorable in a cute frock.

Earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra shared a heart warming post, giving fans a glimpse of the “shaadi ka ghar” (wedding house) vibe at the Chopra residence.
From sangeet rehearsals to family jam sessions, the actress shared how special this moment is for her. Posting pictures of her dance rehearsals, Malti Marie playing with colours and sketchbooks, and candid moments with family, she wrote:

Siddharth Chopra, a businessman and restaurateur, is tying the knot with actress Neelam Upadhyaya. The couple first sparked dating rumours in 2019, when they made a public appearance together at the Ambani family’s Ganesh Puja.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Priyanka revealed that Siddharth and Neelam met on a dating app. The couple got engaged last year and are now set to begin their new chapter together.
