The Friends star’s remarks on her relationship with Michel Stern stir speculation about a split.

Actor Lisa Kudrow, beloved for her role as Phoebe Buffay in the iconic sitcom Friends, has caused a stir with recent comments about her marriage to advertising executive Michel Stern. As the couple approaches their 30th wedding anniversary, Kudrow described their relationship as “not a romance,” prompting curiosity about their union.

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 61-year-old actor said:”This is 2025, it’ll be 30 years. It’s not a romance, it’s even more than a family member. It’s the most intimate relationship you can have. It’s different from kids but by 30 years… I’m not going anywhere! No way! That’s how I feel about it.”

Lisa and Michel, who share a 26-year-old son named Julian, are known for keeping their personal life out of the spotlight. Kudrow’s comments have sparked media curiosity, with fans speculating on the state of their relationship.

In the same interview, Lisa fondly recalled her late Friends co-star, Matthew Perry. She revealed a touching moment involving a cookie jar prop from the show’s set.”Matthew gave that [cookie jar] to me at the end of our last episode. I recently found the note he had hidden inside it. I hadn’t opened it or looked inside before, but yeah, he left a note for me.”

Matthew Perry, who portrayed Chandler Bing on Friends, tragically passed away in October 2023 at age 54. Kudrow previously paid tribute to Perry by sharing a photograph from their early days after filming the pilot episode.

Despite the speculation surrounding her marriage, Kudrow’s remarks suggest a bond built on deep connection and shared history, marking 30 years of enduring partnership.
