Netflix has confirmed that the premiere date for With Love, Meghan, originally set for 15 January, has been postponed at the Duchess of Sussex’s request. The decision comes out of sensitivity to those affected by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Markle said in a statement.

The series will now debut on 4 March.

Described as “a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California,” With Love, Meghan blends practical lifestyle tips with candid conversations featuring friends, both new and old. Markle shares personal advice on cooking, gardening, and other topics while hosting special guests such as chef Roy Choi, actress Mindy Kaling, and culinary icon Alice Waters.

Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the series, which was filmed in Montecito, California—about 80 miles north of Los Angeles—where Markle resides with her husband, Prince Harry.

In response to the wildfires, the couple have reportedly opened their home to friends forced to evacuate and donated clothing and essential items to those in need.

The series is part of a five-year partnership between Netflix and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, inked in 2020.
