Randeep Hooda joins Sunny Deol in Jaat, unveils intense first look as villain Ranatunga

Bollywood action star Sunny Deol is gearing up for an electrifying cinematic showdown in Jaat, and now, the film has locked in another powerhouse performer-Randeep Hooda. Known for his intense performances, Hooda steps into the role of the menacing antagonist Ranatunga, setting the stage for an explosive face-off when the film releases worldwide on 10 April, coinciding with Baisakhi.

Helmed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat is being touted as a high-octane action drama packed with larger-than-life fight sequences, adrenaline-pumping moments, and a gripping story that will unfold across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu screens.

On Monday, producers Mythri Movie Makers-the team behind the Pushpa franchise-unveiled Randeep Hooda’s first look as Ranatunga, sending fans into a frenzy. Draped in ominous shades of black, with an intense glare and a hardened expression, Hooda’s character exudes raw power and a sinister aura.

Teasing the face-off between Deol’s protagonist and Hooda’s formidable villain, the studio posted on X:
“Evil has a new name – RANATUNGA. The stage is set for a ruthless face-off with the JAAT. GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON APRIL 10th. #BaisakhiWithJaat”

In addition to Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, Jaat boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra. The film’s action sequences are expected to be a visual spectacle, complemented by a high-energy soundtrack composed by Thaman S (Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Daaku Maharaj, Guntur Kaaram).
