Rashmika Mandanna calls her Kuberaa role “the most beautiful kind of chaos”Kaalidhar Laapataa”

As Kuberaa made its theatrical debut last week, actress Rashmika Mandanna took a moment to reflect on her journey with the film, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the cast, crew, and fans who embraced her character, Sameera.

Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Rashmika described working under director Shekar Kammula as a deeply fulfilling experience. “There’s just something about him that made me perform Sameera the way I did,” she wrote. “His genuine love for the craft always overflows into his films, and that’s the reason I wanted to work with him. When I got the chance, I fully surrendered to his vision. Everything you see of Sameera on screen is thanks to him.”

Rashmika also opened up about sharing the screen with Dhanush, who plays Deva in the film. “When you work with such amazing people, brilliant actors, it’s a big, big responsibility to be good yourself, to help elevate their performances. Acting has so much to do with reacting, and when you’re with someone like Dhanush sir, you have no choice but to give it your all. I’m so grateful I got to play Sameera alongside Deva,” she said.

The Animal star didn’t hold back in her admiration for veteran actor Nagarjuna, who also features in the film. “Nag sir… words can never do justice to him, as a performer or as a person. I truly adore and admire him. He’s the best. His way of life is so special… it’s inspirational.”

Rashmika went on to express appreciation for the entire Kuberaa team, from the direction and camera departments to costume, lighting, and production. “The whole gang, the direction team, the actors, the camera crew, all of them are so strong in their craft. I absolutely loved working with you guys. I feel so honoured to have been part of this project,” she wrote, giving special mentions to costume designer Kavya Sri Raam and producer Suniel Narang.

Concluding her message with love for her fans and the audience, Rashmika wrote, “Thank you, God. Thank you to the extended family (fans). Thank you to everyone.” She signed off by describing her character as “the most beautiful kind of chaos.”

Kuberaa, directed by Shekar Kammula and featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Dhanush and Nagarjuna, continues to draw audiences with its emotional depth and powerful performances.
