Saif Ali Khan will commence shooting on Adipurush from mid-March. The film will star Prabhas in the lead role and is being directed by Om Raut. Shooting on the project officially began in February.
The film is set to be Prabhas’ “magnum opus” and will be a retelling of the Ramayana legend. It is expected that Saif Ali Khan will play Ravana, the demon king. The project is set for release in August 2022.
The movie will be shot in Hindi and Telugu and it will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other foreign languages.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.
