Fans of Shahid Kapoor are in for a treat as the release of his much-anticipated action-drama Deva has been moved up! Originally slated to hit cinemas on 14, February 2025, the high-octane thriller will now release two weeks earlier, on 31 January 2025.
The announcement was made via Instagram, with the filmmakers sharing their excitement:

Deva marks Shahid Kapoor’s return to the big screen after almost a year, following his performance in the unconventional romantic drama Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, where he starred opposite Kriti Sanon as a man who falls in love with a robot.
In Deva, Shahid takes on the role of a rebellious police officer tasked with investigating a high-profile case. The film promises an intense journey as his character unravels a dangerous web of lies and betrayal. Pooja Hegde stars as a journalist and the film’s leading lady, while Pavail Gulati plays a key role.
Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Deva promises to be a gritty, edge-of-your-seat action drama.
