Actor Tiger Shroff is one of Bollywood’s favourite action stars ever since his debut in 2014’s ‘Heropanti’. Now, the actor will be returning to the role that established him in the film industry with ‘Heropanti 2’. Shroff will begin shooting for the sequel on April 3 in Mumbai.

Pre-production for the project started last year, and the film was announced in February 2020. More than a year on, the film will finally start shooting in India’s film capital after being delayed thanks to the pandemic.

The film is being directed by Ahmed Khan, and ‘Heropanti 2’ will mark the third collaboration between Shroff and the director following their films ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Baaghi 3’. Tara Sutaria, who will feature as the lead in this rendition of the ‘Heropanti’ franchise, is set to join Shroff on sets a week after filming begins.

Nothing significant has been revealed about the plot of the film thus far but we do know that music for the film will be composed by the legendary AR Rahman. We can hopefully expect to see ‘Heropanti 2’ on our screens on December 3 2021.

‘Heropanti 2’ is currently one of four films that Shroff has in the works, with the actor set to star in ‘Rambo’, ‘Ganpath’ and ‘Baaghi 4’ all within 2021 and 2022.
