The trailer for the upcoming action film ‘Sulthan’ has dropped. The film stars Karthi in the lead whilst Bakkiyaraj Kannan is on to direct.
The trailer sees Karthi leading an army of 100 men, who must fight ruthlessly against their evil opposition. The intense visuals of blood, war and fire set the tone for the film, and it seems like ‘Sulthan’ will be an action project with a dark edge.
‘Sulthan’ is expected to be one of the biggest productions currently underway in the Tamil industry and will be a career-defining moment for Karthi. Rashmika Mandanna will make her debut into Tamil cinema in the film as the female lead.
Currently, the film is set to release on April 2. However, with the rising COVID cases in India, there is potential for the premiere to be delayed. The film also stars Napoleon, Lal, and Yogi Babu. Shooting on the project began way back in 2019 but was only completed October 2020, due to COVID-related delays.
