Tamannaah Bhatia is diving into the mystical and the unknown with her upcoming film, Odela 2. Describing it as a fantasy-packed theatrical experience, the actress revealed that the film blends supernatural elements with a spiritual undertone, while also tackling contemporary social issues.

Fresh from turning heads at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, Tamannaah opened up to IANS about what makes Odela 2 a unique cinematic ride. “It’s a fantasy movie with a supernatural backdrop and a slight spiritual tone. I love films that take you into a different world-this one does just that,” she shared, adding that the film even takes viewers to the sacred city of Kashi for the first time.

While Odela 2 promises to be an otherworldly thriller, Tamannaah emphasised that the storyline is deeply rooted in reality. “It deals with the issues we face as a society today. But it leaves you on a high and empowering note,” she said, highlighting her belief that cinema should inspire hope.

“I became an actor because films made me hopeful,” Tamannaah reflected. “And that’s exactly what I want this film to do for audiences, leave them feeling empowered.”

Directed by Ashok Teja, Odela 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to the 2022 thriller Odela Railway Station. The film boasts a stellar ensemble with Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Yuva, and Naga Mahesh in key roles. Produced by D. Madhu under Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks, the film features cinematography by Soundararajan and a haunting score by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

With mystery, mythology, and modern struggles woven together, Tamannaah is set to lead audiences on a journey that is as thought-provoking as it is thrilling.
