SRK starrer Jawan has continued to rule cinemas across the world, with King Khan fans excited to grab the first spot to watch the movie.
However, excitement turned into disappointment for SRK fans visiting Vue cinemas in Dagenham.
On 7 September, when fans filled up the theatre to catch the first day first show of King Khan’s magnum opus. However, they were soon disappointed as they realised that the theatre has accidentally played the second half of Jawan before the first half.
An Instagram user, Sahar Rashid, captured her ordeal on camera and posted it on the social media platform.
“Vue you should not only refund one ticket but entire years tickets for spoiling my dream actor’s movie,” she wrote in her caption.
In the video she showed people queuing up for refund.
She wrote in her video that Vue later refunded the tickets and gave her complimentary tickets.
Asian Sunday reached out to Vue Cinema.
A Vue spokesperson said: “At a screening of Jawan at our Dagenham site on 7 September, a technical issue led to the wrong portion of the film being played at first. This was quickly identified and we are in the process of refunding all customers.”
Jawan continues to rule the box office world wide and has earned nearly Rs 900 crores (approximately £87m) worldwide.
