Vicky Kaushal is set for a packed 2024, with multiple high-profile projects lined up. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Chhaava, a period drama directed by Laxman Utekar, in which he plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. With its 14 February theatrical release date approaching, fans are eagerly waiting to see Vicky in this never-seen-before avatar.

But Chhaava isn’t the only major project keeping him busy. After wrapping up promotions for the historical epic, Vicky will dive into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film, Love & War. Speaking about the project for the first time in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actor opened up about working with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, his co-stars in the film.

‘I have great comfort working with them’

While discussing his experience of collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vicky described it as a “dream come true” and revealed that he has already learned a lot from the celebrated filmmaker. When asked about reuniting with Ranbir and Alia, he shared:

“We have just started working on the film. I have great comfort in working with Ranbir and Alia—this is my second film with both after Sanju and Raazi. They are very easy actors, incredibly talented. So, it’s fun on the sets. I can’t reveal anything about the film, but I am looking forward to Chhaava and Love & War.”

A long-awaited on-screen trio

Although Love & War is Vicky’s first collaboration with Bhansali, the film marks a long-awaited reunion with Alia and Ranbir. In 2018, he shared the screen with them in two separate blockbuster films—playing Alia’s onscreen husband in Raazi and Ranbir’s best friend in Sanju. His chemistry with both stars was widely appreciated, making their first-ever film together even more exciting for fans.

What’s next for Vicky Kaushal?

Apart from Chhaava and Love & War, Vicky has another ambitious project lined up—Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar, where he will portray Chiranjeevi Parashurama.

With an exciting mix of historical dramas and grand cinematic spectacles, 2024 is shaping up to be a defining year for Vicky Kaushal’s career.
