Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal on Wednesday has shared a sneak peek from his preparations for the upcoming film ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, and it seems the project will see Kaushal indulging in archery.

The ‘Raazi’ star hopped on to Instagram to share a picture of himself practising the sport. In the picture, Kaushal is holding a bow and arrow while looking at his target. The ‘Masaan’ star quoted American choir director-musician Kirk franklin and wrote in the caption, “Hard-work is something you marinate over time… it’s not microwaveable. #kirkfranklin.”

‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ will see Kaushal turn his hand to a superhero role. The film reunites Kaushal with director Aditya Dhar, who he worked on ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ with. Ashwatthama, who Kaushal plays in the film, is a legendary hero who played a role in the war between Pandavas and Kauravas. ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ is set to begin filming this year and is expected to release at some point in 2022.

Kaushal has several upcoming projects, including ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, ‘Takht’, and a biopic based on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
