2015’s most awaited Bollywood romantic comedy when Shaandaar will be hitting the big screen on 22nd October.
Marking Indian cinema’s first destination wedding film, Shaandaar is the next project maverick director, Vikas Bahl is delving into,following the runaway success of the critically lauded and commercially successful Queen –
2014’s most celebrated Bollywood film that consequently swept up award season.
Shaandaar has been highly anticipated by audiences and critics alike since its announcement, with its trailer release generating in excess of five million views in four days.
Principally filmed against the charming backdrop of Leeds and the sweeping Yorkshire countryside, Shaandaar will appeal to all audiences.
The rom-com features two of India’s most accomplished artists – Shahid Kapoor and the industry’s most celebrated new talent, Alia Bhatt.
Also starring int he film are Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor and veteran actress, Sushma Seth.
The movie will release on the 22nd October.
