The first trailer for Wild Dog is out. Nagarjuna’s upcoming project, ‘Wild Dog’ will be released in cinemas on April 2. The film has been directed by Ahishor Solomon and will co-star Dia Mirza and Saiyami Kher. ‘Wild Dog’ will be released in cinemas on April 2.
The trailer watches as the National Investigation Agency are left to understand the cause of a bomb blast. We see how the team, led by Nagarjuna as Vijay Varma have to work to figure out what happened. It is clear from the trailer than Vijay Varma is a steadfast, and aggressive officer who will do what it takes to finish his job and the film looks set to be an intense action thriller.
Speaking about the film’s deal with Netflix, Nagarjuna confirmed that, due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, the makers of Wild Dogs had made a deal with Netflix to release online, but after the success of films like Krack and Uppena, the makers decided that the film would release initially in theatres before moving to Netflix a few weeks later.
‘Wild Dog’ is based upon the aftermath of the bomb blasts that occurred in Hyderabad in 2013. Whilst based on a true event, the film will take a look at a fictionalised narrative.
