Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is well on her way to becoming a huge star here in America thanks to her new show, “Quantico.”
It is pretty hard to avoid the 33-year-old Bollywood star these days, thanks to the fact she is plastered on billboards everywhere. But apparently the people at ABC, the network airing the drama, still don’t know who she is.
While promoting the new series and its star, the network confused Priyanka with another Indian actress and former Miss World, Yukta Mookhey. Major oops
Twitter immediately blew up with news of the mishap, criticizing the network for the mistake, but Chopra took the whole thing in stride by tweeting ‘Lol!’
ABC quickly issued an apology and corrected the promo. “Our sincerest apologies @priyankachopra . Here is the corrected story,” they tweeted with a link to the updated version.
