As the celebrations continue, fans are eagerly awaiting more updates from the beloved actress.

0

Actors Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh are all set to share screen space in the upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The movie marks a reunion for Arjun and Bhumi, who were last seen together in the 2024 debacle The Lady Killer, which many have called Bollywood’s biggest flop to date. However, hopes are high for this new project as the makers have just revealed the film’s official release date: Mere Husband Ki Biwi will hit cinemas on 21 February.

Pooja Entertainment made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a teaser post with the tagline, “Yahaan pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai – kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai!” (The geometry of love here is a bit twisted – because it’s not a love triangle, it’s a full circle!). The post also featured a quirky motion poster showing a man’s shoe caught between a stiletto and a Punjabi jutti, symbolising the film’s playful and unique take on relationships.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for his previous works like Khel Khel Mein and Pati Patni Aur Woh, Mere Husband Ki Biwi promises to be a romantic comedy that explores the complexities and quirks of modern-day relationships.

In a press statement, Aziz expressed his excitement for the project, stating, “As a filmmaker, I’ve always believed in telling stories that entertain, and leave audiences of all ages smiling. I believe such films endure and make for repeat viewings. Mere Husband Ki Biwi celebrates the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships. I’ve always been a fan of wholesome entertainers—movies that bring friends and families together, make them laugh, and give them something to talk about. That’s exactly what we’ve aimed for with this film.”

Fans are now eagerly awaiting this intriguing and comedic take on romance, as the film gears up for its February release.

Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Vedang Raina spark Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2 hints with New Year road trip snaps

0

While much of Bollywood rang in the New Year jetting off to international destinations, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Vedang Raina chose a more laid-back celebration—and ended up sparking a frenzy online. The trio, considered some of Bollywood’s hottest rising stars, shared snaps from a road trip to Goa, and fans are convinced there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Siddhant’s Instagram post featured a series of vintage-style photos capturing the trio’s bromantic escapades. He captioned it: “With Thee Buoyyys @ishaankhatter @vedangraina ✊😎.” Vedang cheekily replied, “ should’ve Airdropped this first 😂,” to which Ishaan added, “When the Goa plan actually makes it out of the group chat 🙏.”

The casual post quickly ignited speculation among fans, who flooded the comments section with theories. Many suggested the photos could be a cryptic hint at a potential Bollywood road-trip movie. “Could this be an unofficial announcement of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2 or Dil Chahta Hai 2?! ,” one fan commented. Others echoed the sentiment, with remarks like, “ZNMD 2????,” and “Dil Chahta Hai vibes!! .”

The excitement didn’t stop there. Several fans tagged filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who directed the 2011 hit Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, urging her to bring the three stars together on the big screen. “New Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara cast…” one user declared, while another added, “Someone please cast them together for some bromance movie.”

The trio’s unexpected pairing has left fans eagerly anticipating what could be the next big Bollywood bromance. Whether the Goa getaway was simply a holiday or a teaser for a cinematic collaboration remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: fans are ready for a Dil Chahta Hai or ZNMD sequel with Siddhant, Ishaan, and Vedang leading the charge.

For now, it’s anyone’s guess—but Bollywood’s road-trip classics may just have their next-gen stars.

Meghan Markle returns to Instagram, announces new Netflix series amid personal brand relaunch

0

Meghan Markle has returned to Instagram, making waves as she kickstarted 2025 with a New Year’s Day post. Her first post in years featured a tranquil video of her running along a beach and drawing “2025” in the sand, showcasing her signature flair. On 2 January, Markle revealed the trailer for her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, set to premiere on 15 January.

The series promises to showcase the Duchess of Sussex as a modern-day lifestyle guru, offering viewers a glimpse into her creative side. From baking and flower arranging to donning a beekeeper’s suit to collect honey, Markle embraces imperfection in her quest for joy. “We’re not in the pursuit of perfection,” she says in the trailer, “We’re in the pursuit of joy!”

Her return to social media comes at a pivotal time as she looks to revitalise her personal brand after a quieter year. Markle’s lifestyle venture, American Riviera Orchard, launched on Instagram in March 2024 but has yet to begin trading goods due to trademark setbacks. The account features a bio reading, “By Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024,” and a grid showcasing the brand’s logo.

Trademarking challenges have delayed the company’s plans. Despite filing an application for her line of jams and other goods in February 2024, it was rejected in August, and her team requested more time to reapply.

2025 is shaping up to be a crucial year for both Meghan and Prince Harry, whose Hollywood stock appears to be waning. Their multimillion-dollar Netflix contract, signed in 2020, is set to expire next year. Their most recent project with the platform, Polo, intended to highlight the “grit behind the glamour” of the sport, failed to resonate with audiences and received lukewarm reviews.

Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Markle was an avid social media user and the creator of The Tig, a popular lifestyle blog. She deactivated her personal accounts in January 2018 following her engagement to Prince Harry. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, both Meghan and Harry have openly discussed the dangers of social media. Meghan previously shared her struggles with online abuse, particularly during her pregnancies with Archie and Lilibet.

Now, with a Netflix series on the horizon and a return to Instagram, Markle seems poised to reignite public interest and rebuild her personal brand in 2025.

Sean Combs exposed: Friends and employees speak out in Peacock’s shocking documentary

0

As Sean “Diddy” Combs faces trial for sex trafficking charges, Peacock has announced the release of a hard-hitting documentary exploring the allegations against the music mogul and the forces that shaped his rise to fame.

Titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, the 90-minute special delves into Combs’ early years, his evolution from “Puffy” to “Diddy,” and the recent criminal accusations that have cast a shadow over his legacy. The documentary promises to challenge viewers’ perceptions, offering candid accounts from those who knew him personally.

The first trailer teases exclusive interviews with key figures from Diddy’s life, including a childhood friend, a former bodyguard, and a winner from Making the Band. Notably, singer-songwriter-producer Al B. Sure! also speaks out for the first time, recounting his experiences with Diddy during their time at Uptown Records. Sure! was previously in a relationship with Kim Porter before she began dating Combs. The documentary features never-before-seen footage of Diddy at parties and in the studio, providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his world.

“Sean Combs is a monster,” declares attorney Lisa Bloom in the trailer. Bloom is representing Dawn Richards in a civil case against the music mogul.

The documentary doesn’t shy away from disturbing claims. One unidentified insider recounts unsettling incidents involving underage girls, stating, “Anytime a studio or any room is lit with red lighting, he’s making love, sex. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure, they were underage.” Another unnamed woman adds, “They said they could ship me off and sell me to anyone.”

Currently, the 55-year-old Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, as he awaits trial. He is also named in more than 25 lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct.

Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy will stream on Peacock from 14 January, promising an unflinching look at one of music’s most controversial figures.

Ranbir Kapoor confirms ‘Animal’ franchise to be a trilogy, fans give mixed reactions

0

Despite the mixed criticism that Ranbir Kapoor received for his 2023 blockbuster Animal, the film’s impressive box office performance silenced much of the negativity. As one of the top worldwide grossers for Bollywood that year, Animal cemented Ranbir’s place as a bona fide ‘superstar,’ with his performance and the film’s themes at the heart of the debate. While director Sandeep Reddy Vanga went to great lengths defending the film and its predominantly misogynistic concepts, Ranbir, in contrast, adopted a more measured response.

The film’s climactic moments were further amplified by the surprise teaser for its sequel, Animal Park, embedded in the final cut — an Easter egg that excited many, including Ranbir himself. But if this twist wasn’t enough, the actor recently revealed even more thrilling news for fans of the Animal franchise. In a candid interview, Ranbir confirmed that the Animal saga will be a trilogy, with the first film merely scratching the surface of the full vision.

He shared that the initial instalment was just the filmmakers “flirting” with the true potential of the series, which greatly excites him as an actor, especially given that he has the opportunity to play both the protagonist and antagonist across the three films. However, fans may have to wait a while for the next chapter, as both Ranbir and Vanga are busy with other professional commitments. The projected start date for Animal 2 is set for 2027, meaning that fans who thought Animal was an intense ride might need to buckle up.

Reactions to this announcement have been mixed, with some fans expressing fatigue over the growing trend of franchise-heavy storytelling. Comments on social media included: “Done with this trilogy & series thing.” while others lamented, “Don’t forget to write the story, unlike first one.” There was also a certain level of scepticism, with one comment reading, “so if one succeeds that means all will succeed then!” and another stating, “Milking it heavy.”

Some fans have drawn comparisons between Animal’s strategy and the ongoing success of Pushpa 2. Despite personal challenges, Allu Arjun’s film continues to dominate, with recent leaks hinting that Pushpa 3: The Rampage is in the works. This has led to speculation about whether Animal’s trilogy was always part of the plan, or if it was birthed from the film’s undeniable success.

Regardless of the public debate, Ranbir seems genuinely excited about the future of the franchise, calling it “an extremely exciting project” and praising Vanga as “an extremely original director.” As the face of one of Bollywood’s most controversial films in recent times, it’s clear that Ranbir is ready to take Animal to the next level — even if not all fans are on board for the ride.

Pushpa 2 sees over 50% decline in fifth Thursday earnings, box office reports reveal

0

Pushpa 2: The Rise, a high-octane action film starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has enjoyed a spectacular run at the domestic box office since its release. However, the film saw a significant drop in its daily earnings on day 29, with a decline of over 50%.

In its first week, Pushpa 2 earned approximately £72.2 million, followed by around £26.2 million in its second week and roughly £12.9 million in its third week. The film continued its successful streak in its fourth week, around £870,000 on its fourth Friday, around £1.2 million on its fourth Saturday, approximately £1.5 million on its fourth Sunday, around £670,000 on its fourth Monday, roughly £760,000 on its fourth Tuesday, and around £1.3 million on its fourth Wednesday.

However, Pushpa 2 experienced a sharp decline of 61.51% in its daily collections on the fifth Thursday, with earnings dropping to approximately £500,000, bringing the total India collections in its fourth week to about £6.9 million. The film’s overall India box office earnings stand at ₹1,189.85 crore (roughly £117.2 million).

Breaking down the earnings further, the film’s Hindi version earned around £77.1 million, while the Telugu version made approximately £32.7 million. Pushpa 2’s Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions grossed about £5.7 million, roughly £1.4 million, and around £760,000, respectively. The Hindi shows recorded an overall theatrical occupancy of 12.99%, while the Telugu shows had an occupancy of 14.30% on 2 January, according to film trade portal Sacnilk.

On the global front, Pushpa 2 has accumulated approximately £172.2 million in its fourth week, according to film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is the second installment in the Pushpa series and follows the success of the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise.

The sequel follows a mafia boss struggling to keep his sandalwood business afloat amidst increasing police regulations. The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bhardwaj in pivotal roles.

Shraddha Kapoor confirms signing three films post Stree 2, but trolls remain unimpressed

0

Shraddha Kapoor had a stellar 2024, returning to the big screen as the enigmatic mystery woman in Stree 2. The horror-comedy, also starring Rajkummar Rao, not only won hearts but shattered box office records. Fans adored Shraddha and Raj’s endearing on-screen chemistry, while unexpected cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia left audiences in awe.

Four months after Stree 2’s release, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of Shraddha’s next projects. And now, in an exciting revelation, the actor has confirmed she has signed three new films. Speaking with Aaj Tak, Shraddha shared she had confirmed to be in 2-3 films. When asked if details would be revealed in early 2025, she responded affirmatively, sparking anticipation among her fanbase.

While the announcement thrilled her supporters, it also attracted criticism. On an X thread featuring a clip from her interview, trolls were quick to express their scepticism about her acting abilities. Comments ranged from dismissive remarks like, “Koi nahi, acting sab me same hi milegi” (No one cares, her acting will be the same in every film), to slightly constructive ones: “She may not be a good actress but she definitely is an entertainer. An amazing dancer. Most of her films have done well. She has made her name with the masses. If only she improves her acting.” Another user mockingly quipped, “Shraddha be like — Paisa hi paisa hoga” (Shraddha must be thinking — there’s going to be money everywhere).

Meanwhile, speculation about her upcoming projects has been rife. Fans have been guessing her potential collaborations, with some suggesting, “Dharma one with Kartik?” while others wrote, “Naagin? King? (Also Krrish 4). Both have a Sid connection.” Another confidently stated, “Krrish 4 is definitely bagged by her.”

So far, filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi has already confirmed Shraddha’s involvement in Naagin, and rumours suggest she might join Hrithik Roshan in Krrish 4. Could she also be in talks for Kartik Aaryan’s next film under Dharma Productions?

While the specifics of Shraddha’s line-up remain under wraps, fans and critics alike are watching closely to see if these upcoming projects will cement her position in Bollywood or give trolls more fodder for their critiques.

Internet cringes at Loveyapa title track starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor

0

The title track of Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, was unveiled on Friday, promising a quirky, upbeat number designed to resonate with Gen-Z audiences. However, the song has failed to make a lasting impression, leaving social media users cringing at its awkward execution.

The music video, shared on Instagram, featured lead actors Junaid and Khushi in a vibrant portrayal of modern love. However, the clunky lyrics and overly saturated, cartoonish visuals have drawn comparisons to early 2000s music videos—albeit the bad ones. Critics have described the track as a mishmash of “weird” and “childish,” and it has raised doubts about the film’s potential.

The official post promoting the track declared it “the love anthem of the year” and promised audiences that “love is in the air.” Khushi Kapoor also shared the track on her Instagram with the playful caption: “Babu Shona karte-karte ho gaya dimag ka Bhajiyapa? Well, this is the beginning of Loveyapa!”

Despite the attempts at levity, fans on social media were less than impressed. Comments on the post included confusion, sarcasm, and outright criticism. One user questioned whether the song was even real, while another wrote, “What does this song even mean?” Others simply branded it “cringe” or “the last nail,” expressing their disappointment with its execution.

Sung by Nakash Aziz and Madhubanti Bagchi, the song’s attempt to capture the essence of contemporary romance seems to have missed the mark entirely.

Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Phantom Studios, is set to hit cinemas on 7 February 2025. The film is being marketed as a romantic comedy offering a “heartwarming tale enriched with unforgettable performances, lively music, and breathtaking visuals.” It also marks Junaid Khan’s second major release following his performance in Maharaj.

Interestingly, Loveyapa is said to be a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today. Whether the full film can rise above the title track’s reception remains to be seen, but the internet has made its verdict on the song clear—and it’s far from rosy.
