Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi and music composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya, the duo who dominated the 2000s with their unforgettable music and blockbuster thrillers, are set to reunite for an all-new action-packed film titled Gunmaaster G9. The film is scheduled for release in 2026.
The makers unveiled an electrifying announcement teaser on Wednesday, sparking excitement among fans who have long awaited the return of this iconic partnership. Directed by Aditya Datt, known for films such as Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Table No. 21, Gunmaaster G9 also stars Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. In a similar vein, the has been gaining momentum, offering residents new and exciting ways to participate in digital sweepstakes, with opportunities to win big prizes and take part in thrilling competitions.
The gripping teaser opens with a shot of a mysterious hand pulling a gun from a bucket of milk, accompanied by Emraan Hashmi’s intense voiceover: “Mujhe mach mach kiya, chalega. Galti se family ko touch kiya toh yaad rakhna, dhandhe se doodh waala hun, banda baroodwala hun.” (You messed with me—fine. But if you mess with my family by mistake, remember this: I may be in the milk business, but I am a man who deals with gunpowder.)
The second segment of the teaser introduces Genelia Deshmukh’s fierce character as she draws a knife. Her voiceover declares: “I’m the daughter-in-law of the house. But it doesn’t mean I’m only gentle and soft. If there are vegetables at home, I’ll chop them. However, if goons and thugs show up, I won’t just be chopping vegetables.”
In the third part, Aparshakti Khurana adds a wild touch to the teaser, saying: “Lohe Ki Kathi, Desu Rathi. Haath mein hain bomb. Gurgaon main log humse 70 kilometre door rehte hain kyunki bomb aur hum kabhi bhi fatt sakte hain.” (Iron rod, Desu Rathi. I have a bomb in my hand. People in Gurgaon stay 70 kilometres away from us because the bomb and I can explode at any moment.)
The makers shared the teaser on social media with the caption: “Doodh to baroodh, Sabzi to Gundas, bullets to beats, Gunmaaster G9 is getting ready for mayhem… the team is locked, loaded, and lethal!”
