Jolly LLB 3, directed by Subhash Kapoor, is set to hit cinemas on 10 April 2025. This third instalment in the Jolly LLB series brings back familiar faces, including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla, all reprising their roles from the previous films.
The latest film sees Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi sharing the screen for the first time as they each portray a character named Jagdish. Warsi will reprise his role as Jagdish Tyagi, while Kumar will play Jagdishwar Mishra, the same character he portrayed in Jolly LLB 2. Fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the face-off between these two actors, known for their brilliant comic timing and chemistry, which is expected to elevate the film’s dynamic.
The movie has been shot in Rajasthan, primarily in Ajmer, and filming began in May 2024, wrapping up its first schedule by the 18 of that month. The production team recently celebrated the completion of the shoot, sharing a video on X showing the crew clapping and cheering as the final shot, known as the “Martini Shot,” was completed. Director Subhash Kapoor was seen joining in the celebrations with the crew.
“Arshad and Akshay together will be fun, as both have great comic timing,” one user posted on X, expressing excitement for the film.
Huma Qureshi returns as Akshay Kumar’s wife from the second film, and Amrita Rao makes her comeback to the screen after a six-year hiatus, reprising her role as Warsi’s wife from the first instalment.
A user noted, “Releasing just after a few days from Sikandar, will be interesting. I always thought it would be interesting to see Akshay vs Arshad in the 3rd part, especially in this era of crossovers. But I doubt, the makers have it in them to give Arshad an equal role against Akshay.”
As anticipation builds for Jolly LLB 3, the blend of courtroom drama and dark comedy promises to keep audiences entertained with its signature humour and engaging storyline.
