On the eve of his birthday, Bollywood icon Aamir Khan surprised fans by introducing his new partner, Gauri Spratt, during an informal media interaction in Mumbai. The actor turned 60 on Friday, 14 March
With a smile, Aamir confirmed his relationship with Gauri, who reportedly hails from Bengaluru, marking a new chapter in his personal life.
This revelation comes years after Aamir’s two high-profile marriages, first to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira, and later to Kiran Rao, whom he married in 2005 and separated from in 2021. Despite their split, Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent their son, Azad and maintain a close working relationship.
While the spotlight was on his new romance, Aamir also teased an ambitious cinematic dream: adapting the epic Mahabharat into a film.
“We are just starting with the writing process. We are putting together a team… so let’s see how that goes,” he revealed, hinting at a project that has been close to his heart for years.
The celebrations kicked off early, with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan spotted arriving at Aamir’s residence on Wednesday night. While Shah Rukh stayed out of the paparazzi’s view, Salman was seen exiting the house alongside Aamir, fuelling excitement about a possible “Khan reunion.”
Up next, Aamir is set to return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par, where he will reportedly share screen space with Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role.
